Family Event - thank you!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for A Family Law Review tonight at Geldards LLP hosted by Cardiff & District Law Society and Cardiff and South East Wales JLD and supported also by Alun Jones Family Law.

We were privileged to hear from our fantastic lineup of Counsel.

William seagrim discussed the evolution of Pathfinder and where it may come into conflict with the priorities and objectives of practitioners.

Nick Miller consideered financial remedy, the impact of ‘angrier’ parties on settlement prospects and updates on PNAs and expert reports.

Joshua Haran ran through TOLATA and the overlap guidance between constructive trusts and proprietary estoppel, as well as potential addendum arguments after an express declaration is made.

Amy Beddis explained the last year of maintenance disputes, and the complete mess that can be made of them in terms of timing, comparison to legal fees and honest budgeting.

The evening was filled with insight with some regular and new faces. It was brilliant to see so many local practitioners come together on a hazardous rainy day.
