SAVE THE DATE: Student Workshop Event

SAVE THE DATE: the JLD are making our return to Cardiff University in the New Year, to assist students with top tips for graduating and qualifying! 🎓

This workshop will involve input from the Committee, comprised of trainee solicitors, solicitors, paralegals and barristers, who are all able to advise on training contracts, top tips for Graduation and LPC and SQE advice. Also assisting are Yolk Recruitment (Yolk Recruitment Ltd) who are available to amend and advise on draft CVs (students are welcome to bring these along to the event), placements for paralegal and trainee positions, and advice on geographical roles if you are seeking to complete your postgraduate or a full time role outside of the Cardiff area in the long-term.

This event will include drinks and snacks, with a voluntary Q&A for all attendees to ask anything of our qualified lawyers, and an opportunity to network and peruse work experience opportunities. There will also be a pub trip thereafter for those who would feel more comfortable in an informal setting!
